Don't let the fact that this is a jeep road fool you, it can be a bit challenging in places. There are several steep climbs and descents with a plethora of loose rocks to keep you paying attention. There are good views pretty much along the entire trail in different directions making this well worth it.
It can be done as an overnight trip or lengthy hike by starting out at Sauceda heading west on the main park road, then following Oso Loop briefly southbound before joining this trail at a trail crossing near the Oso Mountain. Once at the end of the trail, turn left and follow the Javelin Road north back to Sauceda.
