Description
This is a paved trail that wraps around the shoreline of Table Rock Lake. The trail can either start at the State Park Marina or at the Dewey Short Visitor Center, which is near the dam.
If you start near the Dewey Short Visitor Center, the trailhead is well marked on the far left side of the parking lot near the administrative building. The trail enters the woods and follows the shoreline for a while. You can walk down some unmarked trails down to the shoreline to enjoy the lake along the beaches, although most are rocky. The trail is well shaded until you emerge at the Branson Belle, roughly 0.6 miles from the trailhead.
The trail crosses the parking lot and then continues past a public boat ramp, a campground, and some day use picnic tables before it emerges at the State Park Marina. This is a trail that is shared with walkers, runners, and bike riders, so be aware of what is going on around you.
Be on the look out for cars as you cross the parking lot at the Branson Belle and vehicles dropping boats at the public boat ramp. Once you get to the Marina, you can turn around and retrace your steps back to the visitor center.
