The trail is relatively easy leading to the base of the Prateleiras. From the base, you'll start a climb with large steps and passes through cracks and giant stones. It becomes like a labyrinth of rocks, and you'll have to do some scrambling. You'll run under others rocks as the trail progresses. Very close to the summit there is the "cat's jump" where you jump over a crack.

If you are not a climber, it is better to hire a guide in order to takes ropes and equipment.
