Description
Poe's Ridge Trail is a nearly 4-mile loop marked with red paint along B. Everett Jordan Lake between the Visitor Assistance Center and the Poe's Ridge boat ramp. The trail contains three shortcuts marked with blue paint that can be used to create smaller loops. Halfway through the large loop, you'll find the Herp Habitat wildlife area. This area is a reformed, abandoned cattle pond transformed into habitat for amphibians and reptiles. Please be especially sure to stay on the trail in this area in protection of the wildlife.
The trail is in close proximity to the B. Everett Jordan Dam.
