Once runners leaves Maria Dorrell Park, this paved path heads north and takes the pedestrian bridge over Hwy 1. After crossing the bridge, you enter the Swift Creek Watershed. Once the trail leaves McDonald Woods Park, there are several wooden footbridges that cross a swift creek that can be slippery when wet.
