Runner Notes

This area can be very windy and there is no cover from the sun. Trail intersections are not marked, but it's easy to loop back to the car one way or another.

Description

Take the third left (unmarked) off the Gorge Amphitheater Trail to follow this mostly singletrack dirt pack trail to Dusty Lake. The trail is an old four-wheeler road, and you'll find yourself jumping between the two old wheel tracks, one side of which will be overgrown (although which side may change!). This is a fairly flat, mildly technical jaunt down to view Dusty Lake. After you've gotten your fill of the water, turn back the way you came—the trail dead ends at the lake.

Flora & Fauna

There's potential for rattlesnakes here in the summer.
