Runner Notes

Number Two Canyon Road turns from pavement to a rough rocky road that often requires a high clearance vehicle to pass over. This road is very quiet past the pavement—you can park where the pavement meets the dirt or halfway up the dirt road in another pull out and start your run from there.

Description

This trail starts at the Number Two Canyon Gate (this portion of the road is not open to vehicles). The trail climbs for a long ways up to all the singletrack trails in the area. It is a good trail to get your climbing out of the way first in order to take the extra fun trails back down. This is a wide, doubletrack path with lots of rocks that are well packed into the road. Keep an eye out for connecting trails along the way.
