Description

Lookout Point Trail is an unpaved trail at Weedon Island Preserve. The berm trail keeps you elevated above a large mangrove swamp and dead-ends at Tampa Bay. While the swamp is impressive as mangroves form a canopy above you, the view at the point is overrun by mangroves. There is a picnic bench at the point if you want a quiet spot to relax.

Flora & Fauna

Pines, palms, mangroves, raccoons, armadillos, herons, and crabs can all be found here.
