Runner Notes
Third Fork Campground has a parking lot right at the trailhead for this trail.
Description
This trail can be used as the start of the Third Fork Whalstom Hollow Loop. The trail will parallel Third Fork Creek. You'll stay on this trail until you start looping around on
A-H Creek Trail #167 to continue on the loop or you can stay on this trail to head south. Along the trail there are some decent up and downs with gorgeous scenery throughout. While paralleling Third Fork Creek, you'll see beaver ponds, cottonwood trees, cool rock formations, and some wildlife.
When running north to south, the trail is a steady uphill most of the way. In addition to providing access the the
A-H Creek Trail #167, the trail also connects up with the Wahlstrom Hollow (#38) and Rim View Trails (#235).
