Buchanan Trail is part of the Westhaven Trail system, and is one of the longer trails. This trail includes a very steep climb on the eastern end before it crosses a dry creek, and then wraps around Heartbeat Hill until it finally ends at the water tank. There are plenty of rocks and roots to watch for, but it's mostly a easy-going trail especially on the western end where it's flatter.
