Overview
The circular route leads along both sides of the White Elster from the royal capital of Greiz, the pearl of the Vogtland, via Neumühle to Wünschendorf, the gateway to Elstertal, and back via Berga / Elster back to Greiz. On the way through the wild and romantic valley of the White Elster, the runner comes past dreamy villages, historic places, and unique buildings. Attractive panoramic views give an unobstructed view of an interesting low mountain landscape.
A special feature of the way are its connections. For example, in Neumühle you can make your way to the opposite side of the Weiße Elster after stage 1 and run back to Greiz on stage 6. Through these possibilities, the stages can be combined individually and as needed.
