Description

The Soldier Creek Trail starts near the restrooms next to the amphitheater (a short run east on paved road from the visitor center) and gently drops down through a forest of mature oaks, incense cedars, and bigcone spruce to meet with the Cedar Canyon Trail #9W24. It then crosses the seasonal stream and connects with the Crystal Lake Road.

This makes a family friendly loop run with the Cedar Canyon Trail #9W24.

Flora & Fauna

Canyon live oaks, incense cedars, bigcone spruce, alder trees near stream.
