This trail begins at the Boundary Trail and forms a short loop through small glades. This area, a 20-acre loop of savanna/glade, is undergoing restoration. There is a small segment of the Little Sac River that runs through the area, though access to the water is difficult. Expect a primitive dirt path along a relatively flat track.
