Description

Starting from the Forest Trail, this dirt path winds through dense rhododendron thickets and hemlock forests along Tibbs Run. This loop is slightly more rugged than other trails at West Virginia Botanical Garden. Low-lying vegetation crowds the trail in places, and twice the trail crosses Tibbs Run. Currently, there are no bridges at either of these points. During high water, these stream crossings will require getting wet, but it is possible to rock-jump across when the water level is low.

Flora & Fauna

There are numerous species of trees and other plants, birds, and herps in the botanical gardens.
