This area is popular with trail runners and is the site of the Glade Top Race.
Description
The 510 trail is a former county road that is now closed to traffic. Access this trail via the Glade Top Trail National Scenic Byway. There are small areas to park that can accommodate two cars each at either end of the trail. The trail has modest changes in elevation and offers a good view across the area in fall/winter. The trail is wide and covered with packed gravel.
