Be sure to wear shoes that you can get soaking wet and muddy since the trail holds some water after a big rain.

This trail is located in Historic Rugby and is managed and maintained by volunteers in the town. This trail is seldom-used singletrack and part of a trail system.

To access this trail, you can park at the visitor center in Historic Rugby and run down the town's sidewalk to the location of the new kiosk, with a map of the trail system. You can also get onto this trail by running behind the visitor center to another trailhead that leads to an old homestead. There is also access using a trail (Cox Branch Trail) off of old Rugby Parkway.

The trail follows behind Historic Rugby and has some small rolling hills and is mostly easy and well maintained. Be sure to wear shoes you don't mind getting wet if there has been a heavy rain.
