The best parking area is at the West End of Old Liberty Rd. Go through the gate and down the somewhat paved, somewhat gravel road about 100 yds, and you'll find the entrance to the trail on the left. On the other end of the trail, you'll find yourself back on Old Liberty Road again; this is a simple, paved road that you can follow to get back to your car.

This is a well-maintained trail that will give you wonderful views of Liberty Reservoir. You'll find many interconnected trails so that you can skip many parts of the shoreline, but where is the fun in that! You'll have to navigate some small ups and downs along the shore. This trail also is great for mountain biking, so be aware, especially on the weekend, of the potential for a bike coming in hot around one of those small, tight turns.
