Overview
This trail wanders through the Siuslaw National Forest with excellent views of Drift Creek Falls.
Need to Know
This trail is on National Forest land. A $5 daily parking permit, NW Forest Pass, or an Interagency pass is required to park.
Description
The Drift Creek Falls Trail descends along a wide path, eventually leading to a 65-foot waterfall (the namesake for the trail) and a 240 foot suspension bridge. Cross the bridge for excellent views for the falls and continue down to Drift Creek below for even better views.
After enjoying the scenery, simply turn around and head back to the trailhead. For a slightly different return route, branch off at
North Loop Trail and follow the trails as it winds up several hundred feet. Eventually, this path will reconnect with the main Drift Creek Falls Trail which will return you to the parking lot.
