The land is closed during deer firearms seasons (see hunting regulations here). During deer archery and turkey season, the land is closed until after 10:00 a.m. You'll need a GA hunting or fishing license to use the property at any time, even if you're not hunting. Any license or permit can be purchased here.

The trail past the end of this spur is on private property.

Description

This is the first part of a long, challenging singletrack network that travels mostly on private property. Yes, I know it shows up on other maps, but until the Purcell Company gives trail users permission to be on their land, I will not map it here (see pictures). I would suggest getting with a local runner who has received permission or lives in the Lake Arrowhead subdivision.

The entrance from Donahue Road is overgrown and hard to see.
