Description

This is a wide, doubletrack trail that is multi-use. There's a bit of a hill at the far west side to get up to Laurel Grove Road, but the rest of it is a fairly easy, wide dirt track. This is a multi-use trail, so be respectful of all traffic, as this trail can get busy on weekends or in summer.

The main feature of this trail which gives the trail its name is an old stone arch bridge about halfway through its run. Soon after the Laurel Grove Brook Trail splits off to the south, this trail crosses Laurel Brook via this bridge. While not of the same quality, in many ways this bridge is reminiscent of the stone bridges on Acadia's carriage trails. This is a little known, but very cool feature of the park and this trail.
