Description
While on the map this trail is marked as the blue and white-blazed Day Hike Trail, it is actually blazed in two colors on the ground. Just after the trailhead, take a right and follow the white blazes up the hill. After about 3 miles, you'll come to an intersection with another white-blazed trail. Stay straight and follow the white and blue blazes up the ridgeline (it seems as though they should all be white, but there are a few blue here and there).
At about 5.5 miles you'll come to the second intersection on this trail. If you take a left, you'll remain on the blue trail, but this will drop you back down to the first split in the trail. Continue straight however, and you'll loop back and come across one of the best vistas in this region. Descend the hill and you'll land on the trailhead.
