The trail starts and ends next to the football field down behind the high school. Probably due to high schoolers, the area just in the beginning has a large amount of wear on the trail. Don't worry, it's not like that the whole way around!

The trail is clearly marked with blue paint on the trees, and signs at the fork. Follow the signs to "Heer/Måna" to avoid getting lost in the trail system.

As you run around the lake, the trail winds into lots of small rock outcroppings and good picnic or swimming areas. Some even have buoys for life-saving and some pre-made bonfire spots.

The trail can be done both ways around the lake.
