Description

This trail, while flat and void of challenge, is a fantastic jewel of the park system due to its abundance of birds! The entire trail is a lollipop marked in teal. From the parking lot take the trail and go right—you'll pass by the trail's namesake and then over it on a lovely little bridge. From this vantage you can take in some of the waterbirds in season. It is also a great place to see indigo buntings, chickadees, whippoorwills, red bellied woodpeckers, lark sparrows, and the pine siskin.

Flora & Fauna

Oak, cherry, pine, and birds of all sorts can be found here!
