Runner Notes
LaBarque Creek is a nice place to take a dip after a hot-weather run! Downhills are pretty smooth.
Description
The trail can be overgrown at times, so beware of ticks in the summer.
LaBaraque Creek Conservation Area lies at the heart of the LaBarque Creek watershed which includes Young Conservation area and Don Robinson State Park. The area consists of St. Peter Sandstone which has steep, narrow valleys, bluffs, sheltered caves and hardwood forests.

It is home to many migratory bird species including wood thrush, worm-eating warbler, ovenbird and Acadian flycatcher. The area is rich with over 500 species of native flora; deer and squirrel are abundant.
