An amazing trail with great views along the way all the way up. To get to start of trail, you first will need to run up Mineral Ridge National Recreation Trail. Towards the start, there also is a small picnic/viewpoint with an excellent view of lake Coeur D'Alene. Trail is approximately 1.3 miles, about 0.6 miles one-way. There area a few steep grades throughout the trail but still do-able.

Would not recommend to go in the winter, although other trails are dry and clear, with higher elevation, there sometimes may still be snow and ice towards the top, making the trail even more difficult.
