The trail can be closed due to seasonal flooding or wet conditions. Once the river level reaches 23 ft. the bridge is no longer accessible.

This short river overlook trail is part of a 160-acre park between the Katy Trail and the Missouri River, located just south of historic downtown St. Charles.

This trail is part of 4.2 miles of singletrack trail. There are some sandy areas to watch out for. The entire loop network is a figure 8 designed for a beginner runner with minimal elevation changes. Most of the trail is hard-packed dirt.
