Description
This paved trail connects city bike routes to a paved trail that follows Mill Creek from Lions Park to Rooks Park. The trail is great for strollers or slow bike rides. During early mornings, many people enjoy this trail to bird watch. The trail gets very sunny in the summer, but at both ends there are parks with trees.
Many people do not run this whole trail, but use sections of it while they are at Rooks Park or Lions Park. The trail is jointly maintained by the City of Walla Walla, the Walla Walla Community College, and the Corps of Engineers. There is a bridge near Rooks Park that crosses Mill Creek and connects the trail to the Meadowlark Trail and the Whitetail Trail.
