Park at the Saddle Rock parking lot and take the first trail that splits off to the left when running up Dry Gulch. You'll then be entering land owned by the Appleatchee Riders with a conservation easement through CDLT.

About 0.25 miles up the trail, hang a right on a somewhat overgrown dirt road. Stay on this road. There are several singletracks that split off, but you'll not take them for this route.

About 0.6 miles up the trail, you'll end up passing through a gate. The road will become more overgrown and rutted, but will open up at the saddle. Take the trail on the left that passes under the pines. A worn out singletrack will meander its way to the top.
