Description
This trail is straightforward and easygoing, however, it does become more difficult during or after rainfall due to the rocky limestone terrain. You can reach this trail by linking from River Road or by following
Hickory Ridge Inner Loop. This is a well-maintained and clearly marked trail and there are plenty of caves, sinkholes, and limestone crevices to explore.
Be on the lookout for the hollow tree and the large native trail marker.
Mostly under a canopy though it does open to a clearing that is perfect for a rest.
Flora & Fauna
Plenty of amazing plants and trees (be on the look out for the Honey Locust and the Black Walnut trees!)
Fox, coyote, deer, turkey, birds, snakes.
