This is a good trail with a flat surface.

Description

From the parking lot, look for the obvious well-marked trail that heads down to the lake. Continue through thick forest, crossing two creeks along the way. Eventually the trail pops out at the Old Jail where you take the road across the bridge and back to the parking lot.
