Smile, thank the VOLUNTEERS, clean up after yourself, enjoy the trail, and be thankful for the opportunity and ability.
Overview
Choose from a challenging 8-mile or 16-mile (two laps) trail run on forested XC ski trails and singletrack trails, and enjoy the beauty and serenity of Casper Mountain.
Starting on the Natrona County Parks Nordic Ski/Multi-Use Trail System, the course has elevations from 7,800-8,100 feet. This is a fun but challenging course and it will surely alter what you thought were limitations.
Description
This is a mountainous trail run consisting of 99% singletrack trails.
Your "road times" do not correlate to trail running; therefore, in the interest of all runners, their families, volunteers, and the race committee, there is a 4.5-hour time limit to complete the 16-mile course. What this means: if you have not completed your first lap (8 miles) within 2.5 hours, we will kindly ask that you do not start your second and final lap.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
