Description
This is an easy running trail popular with runners, joggers, walkers, and dog walkers (leashed and not). It's mostly flat, mixed sand and stone trail with views of Severn River and Chesapeake Bay and wildlife in the interior conservation area. You may see rabbits, deer, and ospreys carrying fish to radio towers and designated nesting sites along the trail in the summer. Some nice occasional views of Annapolis and Chesapeake Bay can be had at certain points but mostly the sides of the trail are in a natural state.
Flora & Fauna
You may see rabbits, deer, and ospreys carrying fish to radio towers and designated nesting sites along the trail in the summer. A few osprey nesting sites are in view and you can often see them resting on the 3 radio towers. There are many wild birds and butterflies in the wetlands and managed conservation area.
