Description

The trail starts on Johnson Canyon Road heading up a mellow grade for six miles. From where the bridge meets the North Cottonwood Low Elevation Connector, you head upstream along the creek.

The trail runs along the heavily vegetated creekside until it turns into more open country around two and a half miles in.

From here, the forest becomes patchy and feels more like an alpine environment. The higher you get the forest completely thins out and is completely barren of trees when you approach Sacagawea Pass.

Finally, you connect up with the Corbly Gulch trail and then the Bridger Ridge Traverse.
