This long trail journeys through mixed forest with two dry creek bed crossings.

Pay attention to trail crossings since this trail uses parts of three other trails. Follow the blue blazes on trees and sign posts.

This is the longest of the trails on Fort Leavenworth. Following the blue blazes, this trail takes the outer perimeter of three other trails. A mix of single trail and broad pioneer roads, this trail crosses two seasonal creek beds where you can view deer and other animals. Decent elevation gain leaves you feeling exercised and rewarded from a nice run.

This is a multi-use trail, so be sure to respect each other and the trail.
