This is a great trail for runners. The local high school cross country team uses it for training.

The Table Mountain Road is a great morning run. The run is along a Forest Service Road, 4N21. As a bonus, the run offers views is two special features. You'll see views of the Table Mountain Observatory which is operated by Jet Propulsion Laboratory under contract with NASA. At the end of the trail is a communications tower. It was once a part of the AT&T microwave transmission system that carried long distance phone calls throughout the US. On a clear day, there are hundred mile views!

The run runs through pine and oak forest.
