The trail is runnable. In fact, it is the first segment of the Angeles Crest endurance run that covers 100 miles from Wrightwood to Altadena.

Description

The trail climbs 1,600 feet in 2.8 miles to the Pacific Crest Trail. Turn left at the junction and you are headed to Mexico; turn right and you are headed to Canada.
