The trailhead is located next to a house on road 518R. The last 100 feet section of the trail gets steep.
Description
This run to the top of Monte Guilarte is the major attraction of Guilarte State Forest. It offers a 360 view to La Cordillera Central, including Cerro Punta the highest point on the island; the town of Adjuntas, Lago Garzas and the south coast, including Caja de Muertos Island.
