I was once benighted on this trail, and had to run almost its full length back to my car in the dark. Remember the head-lamp!

On another occasion, the buzzing sound of a rattlesnake made me freeze in tall grass on this trail. I could not see the snake, nor tell if it was in front of me or behind. Watch out for snakes. Be nice to the snakes.

Description

This is such a fantastic trail! It is a seemingly endless trek into the deep woods. As marked on the map, this trail dumps you out on the very south end of Session's Mountain Road at the start of Great Western Trail: Sessions Mountians Segment. However, if you follow the trail as closely as possible, you're most likely to end up on Holbrook Canyon Spur.
