Description

Round Lake Path, also known as Trail 1, is the primary pathway around the lovely lake. It is wide and easy going the whole way. It begins from the public parking area on NE Everett St. From there wrap around the playground and picnic areas and then head south on the narrow isthmus between Round Lake and Mill Pond (great bird habitats here).

You'll cross a dam between Round Lake and Mill Pond and then cross the main outflow dam that forms Lacamas Creek. Continue around the southern edge of the lake passing numerous other trails along the way. Trail 12 and Trail 13 both skirt closer to the edge of the lake than this pathway does. There is a nice dock on the eastern edge of the lake.

The trail ends on NE 35th Ave. This road has a sidewalk, and there is a nice pedestrian bridge over the lake along NE Everett so you can complete the loop without walking in or crossing a road.
