This is a gradual climb to a ridge overlooking Redfish Lake, complete with meadows and, you guessed it, moose habitat. The last half of the trail skirts the wilderness boundary. Be advised that at 1.7 miles up, everything on your left is wilderness. At the summit, you have options as the trail meets up with Alice Lake - Redfish Lake Trail #092 and Grand Mogul Trail. For a short loop, try turning right at the junction and taking the Grand Mogul Trail to Redfish Ridge Trail #400.
