Overview

This race offers a unique opportunity to start your day at the Lake Pleasant Regional Park and traverses the northern portion of the Maricopa Trail all the way to the Cave Creek Regional Park where you'll enjoy some incredible singletrack with views of Cave Creek and Tonto National Forest.

Description

50K runners will begin their day at the Agua Fria Trailhead on the perimeter of Lake Pleasant Regional Park and travel along the Maricopa Trail for the first 20+ miles. You'll spend time on the Black Canyon Trail, run through Anthem along a desert corridor, and eventually enter Cave Creek Regional Park on some of the best singletrack in the area including Quartz Trail, Go John Trail and Overton Trail.
