Trail not accessible from November to May due to snow.

Description

The western end of the trail starts off quite steep. The eastern approach allows for easy access to the ridge line and great views of the wilderness. The trail is popular with horse back riders in the summer.

Forest Service webpage contains detailed direction to upper and lower trailheads.
