Take FSR 210 to fork. At fork stay left and go through the gate. Run a short doubletrack to end, then TH to the right.

Description

The first part of this trail is a doubletrack through a meadow, then the trail veers off to the right and is a faint singletrack. The trail is not well groomed and has a lot of downed trees through the first 0.2-miles of the trail.

Quickly, the trail becomes very steep with a 41% grade. Due to erosion, some class 2–simple scrambling is expected.

Follow the blue diamond trail markers placed on the trees on the way down. The markers help indicate identifying lines of least resistance on the trek.

The trail ends at the South Fork of the South Platte River. From here, you can return the way you came, or go one to enjoy Platte River #654 - well marked TH to the right.
