Need to Know
There are no restrooms. Plenty of shade-covered parking.
Runner Notes
The paths can be rocky and uneven with various roots. There is a fairly well maintained gravel service road running through, which is nothing more than a wide trail which could be good for running.
Description
The trail map for this area is relatively useless. There are some blazes on the trees, but it's impossible to tell where they go as they're not defined at all on the map. The area isn't heavily traveled, which is good and bad. You won't run in to a bunch of people, but the trails are overgrown in some sections. You'll find a ton of poison ivy along the trails.
Trails at the front are fairly clear, but the ones toward the back are more like overgrown deer paths with waist-high weeds and poison ivy. There are a lot of trees with beautiful leaves in the fall and tons of acorns. Both kids and dogs will have a lot to explore.
There are no restrooms. Plenty of parking.
Flora & Fauna
Deer, squirrels, and lots of birds. Many types of oak birch and pine trees, as well as wildflowers.
