Need to Know

In the off season, parking is near the gate on Pillsbury State Park Road. Please don't block the gate.

Description

This trail starts at the end of the Campground Road, near a large barn or garage. It passes a gate, then crosses just below the dam for Mill Pond. It travels moderately on a wide doubletrack. In 0.9 miles, just to the left of Bacon Pond, Ridge Link ascends on the left. At approximately 1.5 miles, the trail begins to ascend to the mountain pass. It levels out, then descends to Route 31. To get back to Pillsbury State Park, take a right on the road or return via the trail. There is a small spur, part of the snowmobile trail, that turns left (near the road) and crosses over Route 31.
