Description

This short spur trail connects the Ben Overturff Trail with the remains of Deer Park Lodge. There are some nice lunch spots around the ruins. Interpretive signs provide historical information about the site.

Flora & Fauna

Most of the spur is shaded by large oaks and a few bay and maple trees. Bears and deer are common. Watch for poison oak and rattlesnakes.
