Description

As of December 2018, this trail starts from the new Town of Fountain Hills Adero Canyon Trailhead at 14800 N Eagle Ridge Drive. Plenty of paved parking there, and eventually there will be restrooms. Nice benches and a Ramada at the trailhead, along with a large posted map. Often there are trail stewards at the trailhead as well.

NOTE: As of April 29, 2019, the Adero Trailhead has been closed until October 2019 for additional road construction.

This trail is on a former dirt road, so it is very well graded and good for walking side by side with your best friends. Lots of wildflowers in season.

This trail forms one leg of a good loop with the Western Loop Trail. It also is a good access to the Sonoran Trail, which now is a loop including the upper and lower Sonoran Trail. There are frequent markers on these trails as well that are indexed to the map, available at the trailhead.
