Camel's Hump Road may be inaccessible during the winter months.
Runner Notes
There was snow in November, so I'm not sure what the actual tread is like. There were a lot of icy rocks beneath the snow. I had to use the "moving ladder" to ascend the steep parts.
Description
This trail branches southeast off the Long Trail. It follows yellow blazes. It follows the edge of the ridge, passing a few viewpoints as it weaves in and out of the woods. It passes a few rocky areas with some very small caves. There is one point where you'll have to leap over a rocky crevasse. The trail reaches
Monroe Trail (on the left and right) and crosses it. The trail ascends another 0.5 miles to the junction with the Long Trail, just below the towering summit of Camel's Hump.
Flora & Fauna
