This short trail to Trimble Mountain offers an additional challenge to an already difficult trail. However, the tree cover is thick at the top. Only in winter is it possible to catch a glimpse through the trees at Beaver Lake in the background. Despite that, this area does make a good spot for lunch. Follow the lime green blazes along the doubletrack path.
