Overview
For those who prefer a course with pain and punishment, the long course is 20k of grueling singletrack with over 1,500 feet of climbing. Starting from the group campground, runners wind their way up Ironwood to the
Waddell Trail. Once you reach the first aid station, be prepared to go up—the next three miles are all climbing. Follow a counter-clockwise loop from the next aid station up Willow Canyon and hit another aid station before you head down the Mesquite Trail and follow your tracks home.
Description
Race #3 of the series takes place at White Tank Mountain Regional Park. Want fast and furious? Opt for the 8k and challenge your friends to match your speed. Feeling like a billy goat? The 20k course was built for you. Overall and age group awards, three deep. All participants get an awesome super soft race tee (promised not to be white), cool finisher medal, post-race breakfast, and entry into the raffle.
